Thanks for the email with instructions. I had not placed a patch before so the instructions came in handy. I chose to iron and loop stitch around the edges. I placed on a pair of pants I use for hiking so I hope the patch stays on for a long, long time.

I really wanted to purchase one of these patches in this store as a gift for someone and it came down to two options. I chose this one because it said that it glows in the dark. I'm seeing in the other reviews that people are satisfied with theirs but my did not glow in the dark even remotely and, as it was a gift, I didn't have time to return or exchange it. It's a cute patch, but I did not get what was advertised.

I bought this to cover a hole in my rock climbing pants. It's covers a hole in my wallet pocket which if you're an outdoor rock climber, you know is a very high abrasion area from all the butt-scooching you do while scrambling.I'm impressed. It's still there with no signs of peeling. It's also survived quite a few machine washings.

I have a minor obsession with patches, and this patch has been on my list for awhile. I'm mainly interested in patches to put on my laptop case, as I like to do weird fabric experiments on it. The color goes very will with the burlap color of the laptop bag ands looks great there.My only issue was ironing on it, but it was more because I accidentally touched some of the Velcro on it with the iron
